Pakistan Day is a pleasant day to remind us of the significance of our values, our intentions and the weight of the outcome of our efforts. It’s the day on which every Pakistani’s eyes beam with pride and hearts fill with gratitude. 23rd March, the day Pakistan Resolution was passed in 1940, Lahore Resolution as it was then called, collected Muslims on a platform as one nation, whose rights and lives mattered, just like the rights and lives matter for the rest of the nations and ethnicities in the world. Pakistan Day was a movement that eventually gave us our home, which we could call our own. The agenda of the resolution of Pakistan Day is as relevant today as it was around 80 years ago. The lives of Muslims matter, their dreams have worth, and their sacrifices and efforts must never go in vain.
On Pakistan Day, the Annual Military Parade is held every year in Islamabad, to express civilian and military solidarity and show to the world that we are a nation capable of defending ourselves, and our brothers in humanity. President Dr. Arif Alvi who was the Chief Guest of the parade earlier today, expressed his views saying that the sovereignty and security of Pakistan will not be compromised at any cost. We are a ‘responsible nuclear state’ and we will remain steadfast against anti-Pakistan forces, terrorists, and hostile designs of our pugnacious neighbours. He also emphasised the need to be united against all challenges.
Prime minister Imran Khan, respected Federal Ministers, and esteemed Services Chiefs attended the parade of Pakistan Day along with people from all walks of life. This week the 48th session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was also held in Islamabad, and the dignitaries attended the Pakistan Day parade today as guests of honour. It is a great show of harmony in the Muslim world with 700 delegates present from over 62 countries.
Prime Minister Imran Khan shared his views with the nation today saying that he strives to reiterate the vision of our beloved Quaid-e-Azam “for a just society and a sovereign welfare state.” Hype was equally thrilled and excited and wants to share our contribution in celebration and acknowledgement of Pakistan Day.
Through Azadi ka Fasana, the Tale of Freedom, our team at Hype wants to convey that on Pakistan Day, we revive and reinvigorate that we and fellow Pakistanis will fulfil the promises, even with the last drop of blood left in our veins, the promises that our ancestors made to the land, sacrificing every single possession of their being, and soul. Being a Pakistani gives us our identity and our recognition in the world, it is our existence inscribed on the world map to stay forever. On Pakistan Day, we pledge to carve for us our magnificent destiny, as a nation with our endearing willpower and firm belief. Our pathway has never been smooth and we still face an enduring voyage ahead, but as we have stayed unwavering, we will stay unfaltering, steadfast on our journey, not letting us dwindle; but tireless, resolute, and determined.
This Pakistan Day, we aspire to, and inspire others to understand that if we stand for each others’ rights, protect each others’ honour, and share our blessings with compassion and kindness, we will create the peace and harmony we all need in our lives, and in the world. We need to mend our errors, watch our steps be focused on our goals, till we transform our dreams into reality. Long Live Pakistan!
